Each home is different and we feel that charging you a set fee by the size of your home may not be fair to you or to the inspection process. A home constructed in the last 5 years, built on a slab, and with straightforward mechanical systems will, or should, have very few issues to document and the inspection and reporting should be simple and relatively quick. On the other hand, a 70 year old structure with a basement or crawlspace, multiple mechanical systems, and several renovations that were completed at different times can take much longer to inspect, to document the findings, and to report to you.
We don't feel comfortable posting prices here without knowing all the factors concerning your prospective purchase. Call and we can discuss the factors and considerations in conducting your home inspection.There are a number of factors that we will need to ask you about before quoting a price. Some of these would be, the age and location of the home, the square footage, the number of bathrooms, bedrooms, and the number of heating and air conditioning systems. We will ask if the home is a single story, is there a crawlspace, are there more than one water heater and what material is used on the exterior of the home. We will also ask if the home is on a septic system, if there is a well supplying the homes water and are there other buildings on the property that will need to be examined.
